Ok, so the idea is that we buy black clothes from charity shops, then we get Chelsea MA Textiles students to add to the costumes by up-cycling them, making them more beautiful than they already are, thereby transforming us from normal citizens into the carbon coated Gluts. Our costumes will be Puffs of carbon delight. Gina fell in love with a crocheted black and white shift dress, which wasn’t quite right for The Gluts, but which looked great on her. We have named Kaffe ‘Sporty Glut’ because she found a very warm black hooded jacket. Gina found her ideal raincoat and I got my mits on a stylish black coat and a felt hat. Let the costumes begin…
