Tonight we set up a little practice Cafe in Kaffe’s studio (Cafe/Kaffe?!) – tables and chairs for two important guests. They dined on both tap and fizzy water, Stone Cold Soup, Cheap Chicken and Extinct Animals. We were all really nervous before, but things soon got going…
“Good evening madam, have you had a chance to look at the menu? What would you like? The Stone Cold Soup? An excellent choice, freshly prepared by our chef last month and re-heated only this morning.”
At the end of the meal we handed out a receipt with a figure on it representing the effect of climate change on women. Need to collate some figures and write-up some receipts in advance of our trip.
One of our guests was Helen McCookerybook – she kindly wrote about us on her blog. We hear the evening inspired her to write her own climate song called Baked Alaska, which in turn inspired us to get on with our own Artic Roll pudding.
